About

My name is Ryan, but I’m known by peers on the internet and in real life as Yan or Yanyan.

I’m a graduate of the course, Architecture from the Philippines’ University of Santo Tomas‘ College of Architecture, and am living in the country’s capital, Metro Manila.

I’m currently a practicing, licensed Architect here, working free lance, doing some designs during my free time. But nowadays I mostly concentrate on art/graphics work, and some other online ventures. I work for a US-based website/company as a head Developer (for graphics) and as an assistant Administrator for their website, Menewsha.com. I’m also doing web layouts, and I’m very much familiar with HTML and CSS, and know a bit of PHP.

The Website

This website serves as my online portfolio for showcasing my graphics and webdesign work. I started out in the digital graphics business in the middle of 2007, working for Menewsha.com as an artist. The following year, I found some interest (again) on website coding and design. Equipped with a few years of use and knowledge of HTML and CSS, I built Ryanabainza.net using one of the web’s most used CMS—Wordpress. The site underwent a couple of layout revisions (yeah, a few) before I finally decided to build it from ground up using PHP, which I recently just studied.
